Information

Re-Spond Cubes have been developed to support horses in training with specific needs that require starch regulation and additional nutritional support. Horses that suffer from tying-up or gastric ulcers benefit from a combination of lower starch, higher oil and increased fibre feeding. Re-Spond Cubes provide the energy needed for racing in a balance that supports the needs of horses prone to tying-up or with gastric ulcers.
In addition to providing the right balance of energy and provision of quality protein sources, Re-Spond provide both natural and synthetic sources of Vitamin E in combination with Vitamin C to enhance antioxidant defence of muscle cells benefiting performance and recovery. As inflammation is common in response to the stresses of training and the individual's susceptibility to muscle damage, Re-Spond provides Omega-3 fatty acids to assist with regulation of inflammation.
To support a healthy digestive system, Re-Spond is low in starch and contains BMC® (Buffered Mineral Complex). BMC®is a natural source of calcium and other minerals, with proven benefits for digestive function, through regulation of acidity both within the stomach and large intestines. The calcium provided through BMC® is naturally more available, even when omeprazole is given, compared to standard calcium sources, which gives additional advantages to horses at all stages of training.
